Who are we?

We're a (primarily) digital anthology magazine founded in Sydney, Australia who feature pieces created by youth from around the world! By definition, an anthology is a collection of artistic works that have a similar form or subject (according to the Cambridge dictionary). Our aim is to promote and publish original pieces that come together to form one big collection of unique pieces also known as, an anthology!

Our debut magazine, titled “Marginalised Minorities” will feature a collection of pieces submitted by the youth around the world! This topic was chosen to raise awareness for anyone who’s ever felt left out, hurt or just tossed aside by the world. Whether you’re considered weird or basic, queer or judged, too loud or too quiet, this magazine is for you! In this day and age, people are quick to judge and put labels but you don’t have to be anything but yourself to be accepted!

Who can submit?

The short answer is, anyone 24 years old or younger! As we are a youth based magazine we are primarily looking for people in our age group to feature since it can be so hard to find oppotunities for young people to publish anything. But if you are over that age, email us and maybe we can offer you one of the very limited spotlight columns for people not in our demographic!
If you have a passion for your thing whether you're a beginner or have years of experience, you're welcome here!

Why should I submit?

You can submit for whatever reason even if you're just bored on a random tuesday afternoon with nothing to do, why not do a little piece and submit it? For other people, you might consider submitting to finally publish that story you've had hidden in your notes app for months thinking no-one would like it! Maybe you've been working on something with no one see it. Or maybe you want to create a piece to inspire people or inform them of the issues we as a community suffer from. Maybe you just want to flex that you got your work published! Well, no matter what reason you decided to submit something, we’re grateful so decided to do it!

What can I submit?

You can submit anything that is able to be digitally scanned onto the magazine! This includes but is not limited to things such as: Poetry, Short stories (about your experiences, someone you know or even fictitious), paintings, photography, comics, infographics (containing statistics or even info on how to help people struggling or sharing helplines & services), call to actions, digital art, etc!

Other key information/Guidelines

The deadline for our first edition is: 30th April 2026 @ 10pm AEST
but if you can't make the deadline, don't worry! We're always open for submissions to be posted on our upcoming blog or as seperate posts on our instagram! Or if you still want to be featured in our anthology, we will begin collecting pieces for our second edition shortly after!The guidelines for submissions are as follows:
1. Submission has to be ORIGINAL work by you and stolen work will have consequences. You are
permitted to take inspiration from other works but you must disclose that in the appropriate section on the submission form for legal reasons.2. Submissions found to be promoting hateful ideologies (for example: pro ICE, MAGA, homophobia, transphobia, gender/race/religion supremacy) will not be tolerated at all and you will be informed to fix the piece or it will not be included.3. Absolutely ZERO AI will be accepted. Human creativity only. If you believe AI belongs in creative fields to replace real artists then unfortunately this isn't the place for you.4. Your work must be previously unpublished.Does it have to be according to the theme?
While being on theme would be ideal, if you have another piece you want to show off, submit it anyways and we might add it anyways or spotlight it on our upcoming blog or instagram page!! Every single submission (unless it goes against our guidelines) will be posted somewhere even if it doesn't make it into our final one!Why do we only accept previously unpublished works?"
If we are the first to publish your piece, we receive first serial rights. First serial rights refer to the exclusive rights granted to a publisher to publish a work or its excerpts before it's officially released. This allows us as a publisher to showcase the work to attract audiences and readers and build anticipation before full publication.

Who can volunteer?

Anyone 12-24 is permitted to volunteer!! No matter which country you’re from, most of our meetings will be via discord or calls! The only thing you can’t do if you’re far from Sydney is be in most social media videos but you can still help come up with concepts and edit them! Regardless, there are so many other positions that are open for you to apply for as well!

Why should I volunteer?

Why not? It’s low commitment, extremely flexible, working in teams and managed by trusted people! Plus it’s a good resume point having volunteer experience!! It’s also a way to learn new skills and expand on the ones you already have all while meeting new people!! Bonus points if you’re in Sydney because when we do have in person meetings and filming days, you get free food and drinks!
